Class description:

 Drawing for Adults – A Step-by-Step Course

Discover (or rediscover) the joy of drawing in this four-week class designed for adult learners. We’ll start with the basics of light, shadow, and shading using simple still-life shapes. Next, you’ll learn perspective, textures, and how to create a strong focal point in your work. Our third session will explore rendering a variety of surfaces in graphite, including wood, glass, metal, chrome, trees, rocks, and hair. The final class focuses on animals—birds, fish, mammals, amphibians, and even insects. Each class includes live demonstrations, plenty of reference examples, and guidance to help you develop confidence in your drawing. A sketchbook is recommended to track your progress and practice between sessions.

Instructor:  Jeff is  a Professor in the Art Department at UVU .

Refund Policy:   Participants have 30 days prior to class to notify  TAF of changes or cancellations to their registration status to receive a full refund or apply fees to future art class.  Closer than 30 days to start of class, registration fees will not be refunded and will be donated to the Timpanogos Arts Foundation.

We want to make sure that your art experience is safe and enjoyable!  Please email Debbie Wood,  Program Manager at [email protected] , with any questions or concerns about our classes.  Thank you for participating!
