CALLING ALL ARTISTS & ILLUSTRATORS! Illustrate your favorite book, story or poem through painting, drawing, sculpture or digital media.
THEME: Celebrating the written word with art!
YOUTH ARTIST ENTRY RULES:
ADULT PROFESSIONAL ARTIST ENTRY RULES:
All adult division entries will be juried by professional illustrators. To be eligible for entrance, all art must be digitally submitted for review to Jason Millward, Art Show Director, at [email protected] by midnight on April 6, 2020. You will receive a show acceptance email by April 10th to confirm your spot in the art show.
ART DROP-OFF:MONDAY April 13 between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the American Fork Library (64 S 100 E, American Fork, UT 84003). You will need to show the proof of registration form from your confirmation email via electronic device or print out of email. Then bring confirmation to Art Drop-off. Youth may register at the library as well with cash, check, or credit card.
AWARDS:Award recipients will be selected by the Art Show judges. Entries in the Youth and Adult Divisions may be awarded first, second, and third place ribbons in each category. Honorable mention awards may also be given. Juried Adult Division will be awarded Sponsor Awards from the Friends of the Library, Timpanogos Arts Foundation, City of American Fork and local businesses.
ARTIST RECEPTION:Date: TBA at 7 pm with a concert and awards ceremony at the American Fork Library.
ART RELEASE:
Artists must honor the Art Release date of Saturday May 2 from 4pm to 8 pm to pick up their work. Any art left after May 1st, will be fined $10 for storage and handling fees.
